Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Standard and iGUIDE® packages?
The Standard Packages allow two or three professional individuals to focus on their field of expertise (Measuring, Video and Photography). The iGUIDE® packages utilize one single operator to provide RMS, HDR photos and/or 3D Virtual Tour services in a more economical package.
Which package is the one for me?
Every client is different when it comes to budget and the type of property they are listing. Although our Standard Package clients will typically have a mid - high range property, that is not always the case. Our iGUIDE® operators have provided full media packages on properties from the low through to high end range as well.
Wouldn't an individual photographer provide better quality photos?
Yes. And the cost for our amazing professional photographer is reflected in the Standard Packages. However, if the property allows for it, the iGUIDE® package with HDR photos is a fantastic alternative that is priced to be competitive! Take a look at some sample photos in our Gallery.
What is the turnaround time for my documents and photos?
Documents & images will be returned by the end of the next business day. Any shoots done on a weekend will be returned on Monday, unless it's a statutory holiday.
How accurate are your RMS measurements?
You can feel confident in your choice to use Rogue Measuring Services because of the iGuide® laser camera measurements system we use. Their typical measurement uncertainty, in distance measurement on a floor plan, is 0.5% or better and the corresponding uncertainty in square footage is close to 1% or better. Alberta RMS standards & BOMA stipulate maximum square footage errors of 2% and Rogue Measuring Services, using iGuide, easily meets & exceeds these requirements.
How long does a booking take?
Photography shoots normally require 15-60 minutes.
Measurements only bookings take 20-60 minutes.
Combined photography/measurement bookings last approximately 30-90 minutes.
Who owns the images?
According to Canadian copyright law, the creator (photographer) of the images owns the rights to the images. This is non-transferrable. We allow the client to use the images for multiple uses for up to a year. The images cannot be transferred to another realtor to use.
What industries do you work in? Who are your clients?
Any industry needing quality media to showcase their property or space. Our main clients are Realtors®, homebuilders, home insurance companies, architects, interior designers, property developers/managers, homeowners, and retail or commercial businesses.
